The massive Juneau Glacier in Alaska
While cruising aboard a Princess ship through the inland passage, we stopped at Juneau.
We kayaked on a lake at the base of the Mendenhall Glacier on a cold and rainy day.
We were quite miserable due to the rain and the cold, but the experience was a life defining event!
Due to the weather, we did not get as close to the glacier as we would have liked.
Nevertheless, I would repeat the experience in a heartbeat!
Wildlife was scarce, but we did spot bald eagles on a nearby island.
